The RVSGT
Tour Points System is designed to reward Tour players for consistent
performance over the tournament season. Points are awarded
for each of the nine official tournaments during the season based on a
player's net score finish position. At year's end the points from each
player's best eight
tournaments are
totaled to recognize the Top 20 Players for the season. See Awards
for
the Top 20 payouts at the end of the season.
For each official tournament during the season, the Overall Winner is
awarded 120 finish points, plus 15 bonus points, for a total of 135
points. The next lowest net score is awarded 119 finish points,
plus 14 bonus points, for a total of 133 points, and so on. Net
score ties, beyond the Overall Winner, will split their assigned
points. This process continues with the top 15 finishers, and ties,
receiving bonus points. The remaining players in the field receive
finish points only, with ties spliting their awarded points.
